How do I troubleshoot technical issues on Switch?

The first step would always be to completely restart your console (not just going into Sleep mode).  Hold down the power button on the console for at least 3 seconds, then select “Power Options” and “Restart”.

If the console isn’t responding, hold down the power button for twelve seconds to force the console to shut down. Then power it on again. 

The next step is to check for system updates.  From the Home screen, go into System Settings.  From here, select “System” and then “System Update”.

You should also check for updates to Fall Guys by selecting Fall Guys on your Home screen, pressing the “+” or “-” button, and selecting “Software Update”.

If none of this has resolved your issue then you should do is check that your game hasn’t become corrupted:

  1. From the Home screen go to System Settings.
  2. Select “Data Management”.
  3. On the right, select “Software”, then select Fall Guys in the list.
  4. Scroll down and select “Check for Corrupted Data”.

If this doesn’t resolve your issue then a common resolution to many crashes on Switch is to reinstall the affected software. If you haven’t already, please try uninstalling and then reinstalling Fall Guys.
