I get the error "Missing Game Files" or Error 19002 when I open Fall Guys

Missing Files normally happens when your game or Epic Online Services is missing some files to run the game, or there is a conflict on the computer.

Please try to run the game between each troubleshooting step.

Before you start, make sure your computer meets the minimum requirements to run Fall Guys:

  • OS: Windows 10 64bit only.
  • Processor: Intel Core i5 or AMD equivalent.
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM.
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GTX 660 or AMD Radeon HD 7950.
  • Network: Broadband Internet connection.
  • Storage: 2 GB available space.

You may also need to make sure the game is on your C:/ drive when starting it so it can find the game files.

Please try to run the game between each troubleshooting step.

1. Link your Epic account to Steam

If you’re returning to Fall Guys, make sure your Steam account is linked to your Epic Games Account.
Head to https://www.epicgames.com/account/ and login (or create an account) then click Connections, Accounts and link your Steam account to Epic.  You can find step-by-step instructions on how to do this at Epic Games Player Support here.

2. Clear Cache on Steam

Try to clear your Steam cache and verify your game files and run the game again.

  1. Right-click on Steam
  2. Click Run as administrator.
  3. Launch Fall Guys from Steam

4. Update Windows

Ensure your operating system is up to date. Note that we only support Windows 10.
Start  > Settings  > Update & Security  > Windows Update , and then select Check for updates.

5. Disable Proxies/VPNs

Attempt to update or access the game without proxies enabled as they can cause conflict that prevents you logging in successfully. For more details on how to identiy and disable proxy servers, visit Epic Games Player Support here.

Programs running in the background may interfere with installation/running of the game
Right-click on your taskbar and select Task Manager.
